As a web designer, I help build and create a layout of a website, along with updating, maintaining and monitoring the site. I specifically use WordPress CMS to do this service.
In all honesty, it depends. Sometimes it can take a whole month specially if there’s a-lot of pages to create. I focused on small businesses who are just starting out or do not have a website. For best practice I prefer a month to month 1/2 in creating a beautiful website.
Again this depends on who and how big the agency is but for me, because I’m a freelancer and I understand how hard and daunting it can be for small businesses, I focus on quality of my work and only charge a one-off payment of $1000 NZD (Please see pricing to see what service I provide for web design).
In order to have a website you need to be mindful of the regular on-going costs outside of my website design service such as hosting and a domain name in order for your website to exist (every website requires hosting and a domain name).
